Reuse is the New Recycle

We partner with local organizations that help marginalized community members by placing technology with them. This technology can vary from cell phones to computers to toasters and alarm clocks depending on their needs. Some of these local organizations include Arc of Lane Country, Direction Services, Bridgeway House, Laurelhill Center, local school districts, individual classrooms, and even pre-schools.

NextStep Recycling has also been a leader in the drive to place technology internationally. We work with over 20 different international communities. The coordination of getting computers and cell phones from the United States to rural populations in other countries is accomplished in partnership with local rural non-profits in their area.

As with all our computers that are donated or sold, we ensure that the technology goes through rigorous testing, has updated software, and has undergone our extensive security process to remove all previous data safely and securely. Learn more about how you can help by clicking here.
